Luckett Tyner
Law Firm's roots in Mississippi date back to 1952 when William O.
Luckett, Sr., joined Brewer & Brewer, one of the area's most established
and well-regarded legal firms. Brewer & Brewer was founded by
Earl Brewer, former governor of Mississippi. In 1956, the firm's name
was changed to Brewer, Brewer & Luckett. Then, as today, the practice concentrated on litigation.
Bill Luckett, Jr., joined the practice in 1973, and a decade later, the firm took on the name Luckett Law Firm. Robert M. Tyner, Jr., started working at the firm in 1988 while in high school and clerked for the firm during law school. Rob joined the practice in 1998, and in 2001, the firm took its present name.
The firm has been at its present location on Yazoo Avenue in Clarksdale since its inception in 1952 with several construction expansions completed since 1976. The firm has opened a satellite office in Sumner, Tallahatchie County, Mississippi.
Today Luckett Tyner Law Firm represents clients of all types in a wide array
of legal matters. Just as our areas of practice have broadened over
the years, our pledge to our clients has remained constant - to provide
the highest quality of professional legal service at all times.
The firm has ownership interest in two aircraft - (1) a cabin-class pressurized twin and (2) a small business jet-which allow it to travel across Mississippi and the country for the servicing of clients’ needs. This results in cost savings to the client because of the significant reduction of attorney travel time and the fact that the aircraft can land in virtually every airport in the country.
